Estimate how long a fixed monthly card payment could take.

How this calculation works
Monthly interest = opening balance × APR / 12.
We add the entered monthly fee, then subtract the fixed payment. The final payment is capped at the remaining balance plus interest and fee.
A worked example
A $600 balance at 0% APR with no fees and a fixed $100 payment takes six months.
Assumptions and limitations
An approximate monthly model: issuers may calculate interest daily and use different minimum-payment rules. No purchases, promotional-rate changes, or late charges are modeled.
